Newsletters are sent out 24 times a year (approximately every two weeks) to more than 1000 subscribers. A further 24 to 30 special announcement newsletters are sent out as well (e.g. job postings, event announcements).

Ads may be purchased in blocks for periods ranging from 3 - 12 months.

Print Media

Please submit file as a print-ready High Resolution PDF or CMYK TIFF.

For High Resolution PDFs please ensure that all fonts are embedded an/or all text is converted to paths/curves before exporting to PDF.

CMYK Tiffs should not be lower than 300dpi resolution.

Unless a press match proof is physically forwarded to our offices, "pleasing colour" will be deemed as being acceptable for print colour accuracy.

Animation

if final animated time exceeds allotted amount, the full animation may not be displayed correctly.

File Size

if submitted ad exceeds file size, the advertisement may be compressed further by the system. This can lead to visible colour noise and other artifacts. Please ensure your advertisement meets above guidelines.

Design is extra and billed at $65 per hour.

What payments are accepted to pay for my advertisement?
Cheque is accepted and made out to Inside Golf Inc, as well we accept Visa, MasterCard and American Express
What's the difference between bleed and non-bleed advertisement?
Bleed advertisements have the inks run right to the edge of the paper. Non-bleed advertisements have a border of whitespace (usually 1 inch) around them.
What are some suggestions to include on a button advertisement?
Your logo, phone number and address. The advertisement will link to your site website so it is recommended to leave out your website. It is a small space advertisement and the less text the better.
What if there are any revisions to the ad I submitted?
You will have to resubmit the entire corrected file.
Why can't I see my advertisement on the website?
There are a few reasons this could be
  • All add spots are shared with others, your ad will not always appear on the page.
    • There may be up to 5 advertisement in the same position - therefore your ad will appear on average 1 in 5 pages
  • It was requested to not start appearing until a specified date
  • It was assigned to specific sections/pages of the site
  • The impressions/click throughs/tenancy has run out
  • The advertisement has yet to be pushed to the server
Where do I submit my advertisement?

When submitting materials, what are the recommendations for logos and images?
The bigger the better. High Resolution images and vector logos are best.

Will I get a proof of my advertisement when I send materials?
Yes, if you submit materials for an advertisement we will send you a proof so you can see the final version, however, we do not send out proofs for ads submitted.
I submitted my advertisement but I haven't received a response, is there something wrong with it?
We will let you know we received the advertisement but if you haven't received a response then the designer has approved the advertisement for use. If the ad is to the incorrect specs we will let you know to re-submit a new one.
How do I register for the newsletter?

How can I recommend the newsletter to a friend?
When you have received the newsletter in your email there's an option at the bottom of the newsletter to Forward to a Friend
How do I unsubscribe from the newsletter?
At the bottom of the newsletter email there's an option to 'Remove me from this List'
Can I submit a press release to be included on the website?
Yes, submitting press releases are suggested, email your press release to our Editorial Coordinator at ed-coord@insidegolf.ca. We cannot guarantee that it will be submitted either on he website or the newsletter but depending on resources and time we may be able to.
Do you provide statistics for tracking advertising performance and how can I receive it?

Who is the Insidegolf.ca Contest open to?
The Insidegolf.ca Contest is open to Canadian citizens. US Citizens are able to win a runner-up prize but not the main grand prize. As well as any contestants that have won the Grand prize in the past are not eligible to win it again, but are able to win a runner-up prize instead.

How can I find a specific story on your website?
Due to the shear volume of content we have, it's difficult to find certain stories, if you know the title, subject of the story, or author please send an email to ed-coord@insidegolf.ca with your request and we will try to provide you with the link to the story.

Will you use my press release?
Press releases are often used online via the website and Newsletter and sometimes in our Fall publication of Inside Golf Magazine. However, not all press releases that are submitted are used, depending on the content of the story we may use it.
How can I submit revisions for a paid editorial proof I received?
Revisions for Editorial can be sent in via Fax to 1 (250) 709-2141 or responded back via email to ed-coord@insidegolf.ca.

I have received a magazine in the mail, will I be charged?
No, Inside Golf Magazine is provided free of charge. If you would like to order more Canadian Golf Travellers however we will have to charge you for over 3 copies.
My address is incorrect, how can I update my address on file?
